There's always the stackoverflow problem: The high-quality references are interspersed with answers that look good, but aren't. The almost correct solutions with unintended side effects or extensive installation prerequisites that "look promising" are the worst.

The ngspice manual is rather encyclopedic: Topics are extensively covered, but hard to find. What would be the best way to add link lists that reference to the magiclabels in the documentation, to have shortcuts where to start looking for information relating to specific topics?
Ah. Jetzt. Ja. Eine Beispielsimulation. Besser ist das. Now that you pointed me to the helpful examples, I could make it work. .control save all set len = ( 8 2 ) set celsius = ( -40 85 ) foreach l $len foreach t $celsius echo length is $l echo temperature is $t alterparam l=$l reset set temp = $t run end end .endc Just the position of the reset (after the alterparam, but before set temp) was a bit subtle. Ich vergaß, mich zu bedanken.
Thank you for being extremely helpful finding the missing detail in a tsunami of information. How complex is installing lyx and its necessary dependencies compared to a temperature sweep?
