I found this topic whlie searching for the same capability as Alex is, except I'm doing mine in Linux. I'm familiar with TPM capabilities and have been coding a long time, but I'm only just starting out with TPM 2.0 stuff. I'm able to create the NV space with the AUTHREAD and AUTHWRITE turned off and what I think is a valid policy locked to a single PCR applied to the NV space upon creation. My initial expectation was to not be able to write to the NV Space until I have a valid policy session started...
