Hi Roger, I couldn't agree more with you. the looping in matlab is slow. thanks for the suggestions. I think i'm having fun with openDSS and so i will stick to it. like you said, i can manipulate the results in matlab. Thanks.

Hi All, Just to give update on my work: i have been able to achieve my goal in openDSS. I added new monitors to each node and set monitor mode to 0. Now i can see how the voltage at each node is changing over the simulation period. however, this approach will be tedious for a network with large nodes. so i still need help to get matlab to export the results under new filename for every iteration.
