Exactly same behaviour, but we aren't using /auto/ folder. It usually happens after I click CTRL+U: untranslated segments appear, but I'm 100% we already translate them. After I edit the first one and move to the next (that appears as translated), the translation is replaced with the source text. If I use TortoiseSVN to check the log, I do find the segments in old commits, but these translation units aren't saved elsewhere (neither in the current project-save.tmx, nor in the bak files).

Closing this issue is frankly not really useful. If you let OmegaT create a glossary, as reported, after a while the glossary doesn't show the non-ascii characters. It seems a simple bug to me. Another story is that no-one is able to fix it, but closing it with "behaviour is working as intended" is laughable.

I've tried the 5.5 nightly build and the bug seems to be fixed. I haven't tested it extensively though. And why are file deletions propagated? Wouldn't it be safer and wiser to revert that change and not letting many Subversion users with no alternative than moving projects to another system?

I'm not sure I completely understand this message. Among other issues, one of the bug we experienced is exactly that: the "repositories" chunk gets deleted in the omegat.project file. So, as soon as some user synchronizes his project with the server, the project loses the synchronization, because the "repositories" part gets deleted in all omegat.project files. Just a quick note to add that we also experienced the same issue, as already reported in the Yahoo! Group. Unfortunately, I can see no patter behind the errors, that seem to appear randomly, but get worse with larger projects.

This discussion has been brought up as an example in the development mailing list. I was wondering if there are any chances to implement the DGT-OT solution for glossary presentation, as it is (or with any needed modification), because it seems quite evident - to anybody, I'd dare say - that it is an improvement to the current visualization. If there are any steps we can take to make it happen, just comment them here.

FWIW, I would still like each comment following the corresponding term. You can play with font size or weight, making the comment smaller or in italics; you can also separate definitions with a semicolon and put comments in brackets.

So, if I understand correctly, one way to achieve this is to add a parameter at OmegaT project level, with the information needed to connect to a specific MT engine and then pass this parameter once you call the MT. From a user point of view, the mechanism should allow users to configure this project parameter, but fall back on the general MT (in the general Options), if none is set.
