Oops I missed that you're right! I'm sorry and thank you! Any chance you could give me some information on how the "dd" is used or you can point me to a webpage because again I haven't been able to find any sources explaining how the "dd" command comes into play while Clonezilla is performing the clone. The only guide I have found was a step by step on how to use Clonezilla which doesn't really delve that deep into any specific mechanics of Clonezilla especially "dd". I appreciate any information...

Hi, I am finilasing my thesis and before submission one of my lecturers who will be correcting my thesis ordered me to enter detailed information on how Clonezilla's cloning procedure operates. This lecturer sepcifically pointed that Clonezilla utilises the "dd" command in its clone procedure.
