Toxtree will not open
Hi Kim, Hope you're doing well! :) It was really such great news to hear that the new Windows 10 installation had fixed the problems with Toxtree for you! Have you had any further or new problems since then? While Toxtree, as a Java application, tends to work smoothly regardless of what operating system it runs on, and we haven't expected or noted specific problems with Windows 10, your experience will also be very valuable. Regarding the online version, you're correct! We've been planning on adding...
[QA/QC] Invoke the build in the ambit-docker repo
Hi, Kim! Thank you very much for your understanding! I must say that I also very much sympathize with you... Indeed, the very fact that, apparently, Toxtree is so useful in your work, is one of the things that motivates us and keeps us going! This really means a lot to us! I'm also sorry that my previous reply must've sounded cold and maybe even unconcerned. This was a really peculiar problem that almost certainly had to do with some security policy that only the IT support could have helped with....
Hi Kim, It's been quite a busy time here, sorry. I can't help but say as well that here we're effectively doing the job of your IT department. Which is something we could do, of course, but we do usually charge the people for such support, because it doesn't in any way help the development of our software. It's general IT support—not solving a problem with our software. Anyway, since we do generally try to help whenever we can, here's the situation... I don't know how you managed to end up with a...
Hi Kim, It seems there's something preventing Toxtree from installing a dynamic-link library that it needs for operation. It may be some administratively imposed policy by your IT—it's hard to tell. Here's one very crude attempt to solve this: 1. Open a command prompt. 2. Type md C:\Users\lik\.jnati\repo\jniinchi\1.03_1\WINDOWS-X86 and press Enter. This should create the required directory. 3. Confirm that the directory has been created by dir C:\Users\lik\.jnati\repo\jniinchi\1.03_1\WINDOWS-X86...
Hi Kim, Could you please show the output of dir C:\Users\lik\.jnati\repo\jniinchi\1.03_1\WINDOWS-X86\JniInchi-1.03_1-WINDOWS-X86.dll ? Thanks!
Could you please try java -jar Toxtree-3.1.0.1851.jar instead of javaw -jar Toxtree-3.1.0.1851.jar (the only difference is java in lieu of javaw)? Also, could you please provide the output of java -version?
Kim, from your screenshot it's evident the ZIP got extracted to Toxtree-v3.1.0.1851 (2). So, instead of cd Toxtree-v3.1.0.1851, do cd "Toxtree-v3.1.0.1851 (2)" (make sure to put the quotation marks) and then continue with the video.
Hi Kim, Thank you! It seems that you've deviated from the instructions, but I also understand that they might've not been completely clear too. Here's a very basic video I've made with the steps: https://youtu.be/hn_kVGaTx00 Please download again Toxtree-v3.1.0.1851.zip from here and save or copy it to your desktop (that's very important: make sure to have the ZIP file on your desktop). Then right click the Toxtree-v3.1.0.1851.zip icon on your desktop and follow the video. Let me know if that works...
How exactly it "did not work"? Please understand that without enough information from your side, it's all but impossible to guess what the problem might be.
Program not opening despite latest Java SE runtime being installed on machine
Original problem was successfully resolved. Later comments are related to #96. Closing.
Kim, 1) Download Toxtree-v3.1.0.1851.zip from here. 2) Extract the ZIP archive in some directory/folder. 3) Open a command prompt in the directory/folder where you extracted the files. 4) Enter the Toxtree subdirectory (e.g. cd Toxtree). 5) Run javaw -jar Toxtree-3.1.0.1851.jar Cheers, Luchesar

Better NEXT button, fixed pointer style.
NEXT button needs a space on left to look better.
Sanitized the global CSS, fixed floating elements (input field) on Apple's Safari.
Ambit logo aspect ratio corrected, footer text should be better visible.
Apple's Safari doesn't quite like floating elements, so here's a quick fix.
