Hi Philip, could you find some time to get started with the RDD32 implementation? Best regards, Thomas
There is a trend towards XAVC Intra for UHD. We are still at the beginning of the tests. So I can't say exactly which subset of XAVC will be relevant. It would perhaps be useful if Table 1 of the RDD32 recommendation could be supported in a first step. During our first tests we noticed that in addition to the easy to change KAG size, the CDCI Descriptor is partially filled in incorrectly. Also the System Item Timecode is missing, at least if it is not already present on the input. UHD XAVC Intra...
Hi Philip, XAVC is becoming more and more important for UHD broadcast productions. Do you plan to add the associated RDD32 to the bmx library? Thomas
Works, thanks.
Yes, moving the "if else" blocks starting at line 2182 to msvc_block_limit fixes the issue. It´s in bmxtranswrap only.
Hi Philip, with MS Visual C++ 2010 I get compiler error C1061: compiler limit : blocks nested too deeply It seems the latest options have added too many "if else" blocks. Regards, Thomas
Okay, so only the coded picture is used for calculation. AUD, SPS, PPS, filler and other SEI are subtracted. Thanks, I will forward this information to the IRT. Regards, Thomas
Hi Philip, the IRT MXF Analyzer complains about the stated bitrate of 1080i50 AVC Intra 100 in ARD_ZDF_HDF MXF files generated with bmxtranswrap. The AVCDescriptorInfo struct in AVCIMXFDescriptorHelper.cpp gives 111820800 bit. Frame size of 1080i50 AVC Intra 100 is 568832 byte. Which can be calculated to 568832byte * 8bit/byte * 25fps = 113766400 bit. Where does 111820800 bit come from? Regards, Thomas
