I have successfully faxed files with an external hardware fax modem (V.TOP 56K) using efax and efax-gtk under Linux Mint 18.1. However, despite the final "successful" message when the faxing has completed, there is still a "failed page" error message before that. What is the meaning of the error message in this context and how can it be stopped/prevented? The faxed file is a PDF file created with LibreOffice 5 Writer.

Two viruses detected, May 3, 2017 12: 15 AM, Version: areca-7.5-windows-jre32-setup.exe (for Windows) Virus Scanners: VirusTotal online scanners.
