Hello all, Is there a posibility to disable the export of nested families, and integrate these within the container/parent family? Or export the container family as a special IFCClass where the nested families are merged with the container? In revit the only posibility I found is to create a Assembly from the container family and the nested ones. But this is quite a lot work. Any ideas?

Can someone tell me what the option Use visible Revit name as the IFCEntity name does for the ifc export? I created two IFC eports in Revit 2021 with Exporter 21.0.0.383 one ifc with Use visible Revit name as the IFCEntity name ticked and one ifc without that option. Both ifc's shows the same Identity information for the ifc elements:

I opened the IFC file and found the IFCDOORSTYLE. It says in these lines that something is 'not defined'. What could that be? For the IFCDOORPANELPROPERTIES there is also something 'not defined'. The workaround you mentioned is not a solution, but i want to fix the problem.

I am struggling with this “append type” thing. The IFC show double property sets like Identity Data and Identity Data(Type). Does someone have a solution for this?
