I'd like a RIBBON-STYLE menu, instead of RIBBON-SIZE menu. I really like the directness of funcion display and customization flexibility of a ribbion UI but hate the size of other software such as Microsoft Office or Foxit Phantom, since most of the time for my creative work or writing has been done on a laptop instead of a huge plugged display. So I'm imagining an ideal ribbon UI with all the functionality like Microsoft Word but with single line of small buttons, which would both keep the function...

I‘ve reproduced this bug with 1.9.3pre05, and here's my log file.

It did work this time. And I also found that my hotkey presets are kept in the folder[accelerators], and after I copied the preset files to the newly-installed freeplane's 1.9.x\accelerators, I've got all my presets back. Problem solved, thanks a million! But I still recommend integrating this into the overall option backup file rather than this individual one placed in a different folder than the one for the installed program.

Sorry, but I can't find the option. the Hot key presets cannot be exported. It seems that I still cannot get the saved hot key presets imported into a newly-installed freeplane. For example, when I have saved a hotkey preset and exported a setup_backup file (named as "test.freeplaneoptions") and import it on another computer, the hotkey preset is gone.

I am not quite familiar with connector style settings because of lack of use, but to me, I would appreciate if the connector has its own independence from the nodes because, according to my understanding, independent connectors should serve as the further mind processing of the map-creator instead of the node content, these are two sets of mind. Also, I think it would be desirable that the style of connector be able to be copied and pasted to other connectors, and filters support screening or filtering...

My understanding is that I can use navigation keys to go through any node in order, including the summary node, so I think this may be a bug. Besides I thought it was just a problem of a mindmap instead of the program itself, but later I've found I can even reproduce it in a newly created mindmap. Still I'll attach the mm file here, which is the one I've just created to specifically reproduce this error.

Late I've found that none of the operations in Navigation, as included in the third image here, can make the summary node appear.

Return to the root node and fold all nodes[Alt + Home] Use [ctrl + shift + space] or [ctrl + alt + space] to expand the node one by one When finishing expanding all the child nodes and the next one is the summary node, I find that now matter how I try using [ctrl + shift + space] or [ctrl + alt + space]， I cannot move on, and there is no bottom or spot to mouse-click to expand, as shown in the second image.

Click any node and copy[Ctrl + C], move the cursor to the note edit window, and then paste[Ctrl+V]【2】 The cursor flashes in the red rectangled area, meaning there's something there. 【3】 Press Backspace and you will find that it will now detele backwards., and some error info occurs at the bottom. 【4】 And this bug can be reproduced...

And this problem doesn't occur when you copy the text of the node in the in-line mode, which I think is very much like the "copy from some external source" thing you just mentioned.

Using hot-key combination to multiselect nodes will cause freeplane 1.19 (pre20/pre21) to suspend.

Hi, Dimitry, thanks for your great work on freeplane. It really saves a lot in multiple ways! Really hope to donate! I'm now using the 1.19 pre20/pre21, and I'm thinking of some functions or improvements to be listed, maybe a while later, but I want to tell you one serious bug I've encountered now: When I'm using keys to select all of the node at the same level (shift + arrows, press-and-hold), the whole program will suspend, not responding to any of further operation (mouse click, any hotkeys)....
