    Dear Ricardo Anastácio,

We are a group of students from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. We are interested in usability evaluation of FreeMind in order to find aspects to improve in the application.

The FreeMind project administrator knows our proposal.

We need FreeMind's users to evaluate usability. We would like to know if you want to participate in the usability evaluation.

    Best regards,
    John

      Hi John,

I'm a big fan of freemind and, coincidentially, I was talking about it
today to a friend who didn't know it.

What does it imply for me to be a usability tester? I'd love to help
      improve Freemind.

        Hi Ricardo,

        Thanks for your rapid reply.

Usability evaluation consists of two parts:

1.Observation. Consists in observing the user while doing a task with FreeMind. The observation day we will send you the description of the task that you must carry out. The goal is not to evaluate the speed doing the task, the goal is to evaluate the usability of FreeMind.

2.Interview. It consists of six questions.

The usability evaluation has an estimated 30 to 40 minutes.

The schedule available for this usability evaluation are as follows (time Madrid - Spain):

        -Monday: from 16:00 to 18:30
-Wednesday: from 11:30 to 14:00 and from 17:30 to 19:30
-Thursday: from 9:00 to 12:30 and from 17:30 to 19:00

We want to know what schedule you have available to make such an observation.

Please specify your city and country to calculate the time difference with Madrid (Spain).

        Best Regards,
        John

          Hi,

I'm in Lisbon, where the time difference is -1h from Madrid time.

I'm intrigued -- how will you observe me using freemind? What I
understand from your email you'll be doing the evaluation remotely. I need
to install or open something in my computer so you can observe my
          interactions? And my behaviour?

All the proposed schedules are during working days. I cannot guarantee my
availability during those days, but to ensure that I can reserve a little
bit for the evaluation I would suggest Wednesday at 19h (18h in Lisbon).
