I don't know why the spellchecker doesn't understand contractions, like "don't" or "doesn't" or "I've", but having it underline those words is incredibly annoying while writing, and If it can't be fixed, I would prefer to just disable the spellchecker. I can't find any options to do that though.

Here are a number of relevant links and pages for interested developers (I don't know how heavily used or preferred these are): https://github.com/freeplane/freeplane http://freeplane-developer.996965.n3.nabble.com/ (discussion) https://sourceforge.net/p/freeplane/_list/tickets

From what I am aware, because of the way freeplane was originally designed, adding multi-user abilities is an incredible, perhaps insurmountable, hurdle, but the devs have been looking into it.

I've tried going into Preferences>Appearance, and changing the monitor size, fonts, etc, but none of the changes ever affect the size of the font in the tabs themselves. The only thing that has been able to affect it at all is the Windows 10 display settings for "Make Things Bigger," or changing...

I use Ubuntu 18.04, but Freeplane doesn't work. It freezes whenever I try to edit a node, and can't even be closed after that. Does your build resolve this? How do I install your build?

If you go to Tools>Open User Directory, that will open a second folder created by the freeplane installation in the normal spot for things like this, the "Application Data" folder, where you CAN save and edit files in. I don't know why all the templates aren't put there instead, in the first place, but Freeplane will also look in this folder when looking for templates, addons, etc.
