Hi, the error occurred again, directly after opening Thunderbird. In the Error Console (see attached image) there are 4 JS-Errors. The first two directly after opening Thunderbird. The last two appeared after I have opened the Enigmail-Log. No other error messages were displayed :(

ok, I have updated to 1.9.8. Attached you can find the new log file. The error here is nr. 1 of my las post: the body part of an encrypted email is not displayed. I have restarted thunderbird after installation (of course). I have even rebooted the PC. But the error remains!

Hi, I have tried it with Thunderbird 52.2.1 now (still with Enigmail 1.9.8a4). The behavior seems to get worse: 1. sometimes the encrypted mails are not decrypted, no Error message is displayed. Just the subject of the email, and an empty body part. 2. normally I could save the email to draft and then send. Now, sometimes even this is not possible (as in the attached log file, around 18:17:53) This was not an encrypted mail, but I fear, this has still something to do with enigmail. With Enigmail...

Hi, I have installed 1.9.8a4 as well. The behaviour now is much better, thanks! But sometimes the error still occurs. I will run Thunderbird from the command line, hoping for an error message.
