...No luck with wine32, either: (base) leder@home-ryzen-desktop:~/Keepass2$ wine KeePass.exe wine: '/home/leder/.wine' is a 64-bit installation, it cannot be used with a 32-bit wineserver.

Thanks a lot for your effort: I will try again with wine32 - actually I have installed even earlier .NET versions incrementally. Do you have plans to migrate to .NET version 5.0?

Thank you Paul for the link: As I stated I am on ubuntu 20.04 following the original howto from keepass2. I have nothing to do w/ MacOS at all! Cheers Gerrit

Hello Dominik, thanks for keepass2 portable, though I think a .NET 5.0 platform agnostic version would be highly recommended! Lacking the latter I try to follow installing the former with howto from here: https://keepass.info/help/v2/setup.html Though I have wine64 running on ubuntu 20.04, I do not want to install wine-mono b/c the howto tells to install .NET 4.7.2!
