I am trying to act on https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/tkcvs/+bug/1817571, But as I looked into it, TkCVS became TkRev, doing Git, SVN and you have it ? What I liked about tkcvs is that it was doing one thing and doing it good. But I don't mind upgrading to better, I only find TkCVS in both the Software Manager in Linux Mint and the Pkgsrc tree in NetBSD. :| Should this be upgraded to TkRev ? It sounds like it. After that, this is assuming that TkRev fixes the issue. I haven't been able...
I don't know I find value in it as a modeler. We have a renderer of our own. (It is for computer games.) BTW again I think I have mentioned but I have 8.6 and it worked. :) I can't remember whether I had to do anything special

(Forgot to mentioned but the tip of the rocket is still not red. I'll take a deeper look but atm I cannot select from the tree, assuming it is possible. I am working off of VNC and I get a bell when clicking that panel. I will try on another machine. Thus also verifying that I can build the software properly, It would be really convenient in Pkgsrc Thank you again!)
Thank you so very kindly, Randolf! I had missed the help button: my bad! I never checked all the way to the right on the top.
Hello! It's more than just the software that I am trying to understand actually, as I am not too clear about NURBS & curves to begin with. What I am trying to do is exchange models between software containing NURBS and curves. To achieve this, I am using the example file kindly provided here: https://ayam.sourceforge.net/param.html So, the 1st thing is, I do not get any colours loading the scene (see 1st image.) i don't know if this is to be expected I compiled my self and it did not go 100% smoothly...
Alright I am all up-and-running. (I.e. loading, presumably modeling, and exporting to Wavefront .OBJ files.) 'Major' things I remember having to do (for that OBJ support:) * Put -fPIC in CFLAGS (Including in Makefile.m3df or whichever) * Run gmake plugins before gmake install Other than that happy to share a diff. I think this is pretty much it. I had to jiggle LD definition around for NetBSD and I think that is it.
👋👋 Cheers for acknowledging my issue Randolf, And again felicitation for the beautiful software (I can't get over it, I sent a screen shot on #NetBSD with the rocket ship model: http://lanvaux.fr/.download/projs/support/IOTD.png) So that means that I was able to compile :P, I just added an empty other #ifdef block. So far so good, so I will only get back to it if I have other sorts of problem that I can tell relates. Right now I have (I think) a different one: gmake install did not put in everything...
