I've created a dual boot machine with W11, what do you suggest to tome from R5 to R7, should I format the DragonO partition before installing R7? I don't like the idea of having both R5 and R7 Sorry for these dumb questions! A.

Thank you, so it's possible to simply rebuild SDR++ to fix that... A.
Oh, gosh, thank you, I assumed it was the previous version... Now I see your repo again it must be R5, forgive me! So I have to overwrite everything with R7... Andy
Hi, I'm interested in a few SDR++ plugins which are quite complex to build from source and/or are missing a compatible .so binary. I'm thinking about three <cropinghigh" plugins (sdrpp-tetra-demodulator, sdrpp-vhfvoiceradio and sdrpp-inmarsat-demodulator) and the sdrpp-radiosonde decoder plugin by dbdexter-dev on Github. So far, I managed to add only tetra-demodulator to SDR++ included in Noble R6. Instructions to build cropinghigh plugins are too complex for me, would it make sense having a "deluxe"...
Hi! I'm currently on DragonOs Noble R6 and I've made a number of changes I'd like to preserve (f.i. new modules in SDR++, things like that). Is there a practical way to move to R7 or greater without having to erase my customization?
satdump-ui crashes at launch in Noble R6
Thanks. BTW, you really mean QT Creator, or am I missing a new tool? Hope I can find a good tutorial for building with QT starting from Sourceforge...This one doesn't seem to be update: https://drm.sourceforge.io/wiki/index.php/Building_on_Mac_OSX_with_MacPorts_and_Xcode Or I'll have to wait for a Dream package under Mac Ports I'll give a try Thank you again, Andy On Wed, Mar 10, 2021 at 3:49 PM Mark J. HI, thanks for this input! What if QT5 was already installed as part of a Mac Ports porting of Gqrx? Which other dependencies should I look after! I've used Homebrew in the past but would I be able to use Mac Ports, is there a port for each "requisite packets", or should I really rely upon Homebrew hoping it doesn't end up with a conflict with Mac Ports? Regards Andy
Hello. Maybe I've missed a few readme files, but having experienced some glitches while compiling on my High Sierra MacBook Air, I'd rather go through a MAC OS binary install . I've tried to install the dream console .dmg file but it's obviously incomplete. Is compilation the only way to go? Should I download other image files, and in which sequence? Many thanks, currently I own Dream 1.14 and would love to update! Andy
