Answer to myself new test with a vga666 with same configuration ...everything seems to work , i can tweak resolutions with advv ....and save them and also erase them ... so, is there is a limitation with a hdmi to vga ? my config.txt with hdmi to vga ; hdmi_group=87 mode=2 , i can create resolution but there is no way to tune up a 57.4 hz frequency like bad dudes '256x240@57.4' the game stay at 60hz Anyone try a hdmi vga converter with a true arcade monitor ??

Hello, I'm using advmame 3.9 and Raspbian stretch with an arcade screen ( Nanao Ms9) , i can enter advv and advcfg build a resolution , save it but I can't delete and cannot shrink using I , or center using the arrows. F2 record the resolution without any problem. I've done a chmod 777 on advmame.rc , advcfg, advv but no result ... create, record a resolution is ok , but shrink or center is impossible ... any ideas ??? ( I've tried advmame 3.5, 3.6, and 3.9 ...so the problem must be with Raspbian...
