Thanks for the quick response. I kind of misunderstood the situation. I can switch to regular Hashlife when I enter the rulestring "B2aei3r4kn5jnr6k/S2ai3k4iknqr5r6ai" and then it works. It's just the pre-made files that don't work/exist.

Hi, just a quick problem here. On the Mac version of Golly, trying to change the rule to Hashlife doesn't work, it just changes it to the standard Life rule. None of the pre-made Hashlife patterns work either, when I try to open any one of them it automatically opens a pre-made Life pattern. The only way I have found to use Hashlife is by changing the rule to B2aei3r4kn5jnr6k/S2ai3k4iknqr5r6ai. Is there any way to fix this? It worked on the windows version. Thank you.
