    Completely disconnect from the internet and restart the installation with No Internet. Let the installer use only the files contained on the ISO . Then, update the system after you reboot to the newly installed OS.

    You are welcome, Thank Cavy as well. He's the one that spent the time with you. He was also the one to suggest doing the updates , by ethernet , then reinstalling the driver.

    Using the keyboard shortcut Alt+F8 is another way to access the "Resize Window "function. Or you can open a terminal , type xfwm4-settings and press Enter or the Return key then select an option that has wider borders. Daloa is an improvement over the Default and Default-hdpi is wider still. While Default-xhdpi is closer to 6 pixels border width and much easier to grab than the 1 or 2 pixel wide borders for most WM settings.

    After updating PeppermintOS, did you try to re-install the driver for your WiFi card, while still booted to Peppermint ?

    With your current Devuan based Peppermint ISO , boot into a live session as though you were going to do an install. Until you sudo edit the file /usr/sbin/sources-media .Don't start the install yet In the file /usr/sbin/sources-media ,look for the line that says RELEASE="bullseye" change it to - RELEASE="chimaera" Save the file and close the editor app used to make your changes.
