Hello, Thanks for your response. I ran the new version of code but the voltage is still not on desired level at bus 632. I am not sure if I get it right, but is it possible for elements downstream to significantly affect voltage compensator as well? I am using Linecodes included in IEEE PES feeders description which are not exactly the same as their corrected version used in OpenDSS example. Best regards,
Hello, I am trying to write a modified version of IEEE 13. The voltage regulator is placed between nodes 650 and 632. My problem is that it is apparently not regulating much. When I run the code and look at voltages, voltage L-N at bus 632 is supposed to be 2.44 kV. But it is 2.286 only. I compared my code with the one included in IEEE test cases in OpenDSS but I cannot find a mistake in my own. However, I suspect my bus placement to be the source of problem. Setting the taps of regulator manually...
Hello, I am new to DSS G. When I try to run OpenDSS G.exe, it only opens DSS G Manager. There is no Tools Palette. The menu bar is very different from the one depicted in videos . It is not possible to add any circuit elements. What I'm doing wrong? Thank you for your attention.
