I am running Webmin 1.973 right now It is some weeks ago I have seen the bug .... But a lot of other updates from Fedora has been made so.... I will report if it /when it happends again
If I activated systemstatus check in webmin on another system...with 1 minutes interval I get 1 entry in /varlog/messages ...the first activity in cron according to cron log The following cron activties from monitor.pl only appears in cron log, not in messages log Stranges ?
maybe my copy from messages log was not clear enough and complete systemd[1]: started session xxx of user root audit[xxxxxx]: user_start pid=.........../usr/sbin/crond..... audit[xxxxxx]: cred_refr....../usr/sbin/crond..... audit[xxxxxx]: cred_disp....../usr/sbin/crond..... audit[xxxxxx]: user_end....../usr/sbin/crond..... systemd[1]: session-xxx.scope: succed So the entry is not directly from crond

In /etc/rsyslog.conf cron.none /var/log/messages cron.* /var/log/cron
folder is empty
After last update of webmin (1.973) /varlog/messages is flooded with entries every minute with crond execution...it fits together with entries in /var/log/cron "/etc/webmin/status/monitor.pl" the cron entries have "always" been there as I have Webmin to run some 1 minute server checks. But they suddenly shows up in messages There are 6 lines every entry started session xxx of user root user_start pid=...... cred_refr...... cred_disp...... user_end...... session-xxx.scope: succed System Fedora 32...
