I found the issue. Something in popt 1.19 broke compatibility. with Clonezilla. The newest Arch Linux ISO includes clonezilla by default and that worked without issue. I looked at the packages Arch has and my own. As I'm building today, some newer packages are getting pulled in. As the issue seemed to be with whiptail, I found it was packaged in libnewt. I looked at libnewt's deps and found popt. Sure enough, popt in Arch and my distro are different. I revert to popt-1,18-3 (latest in Arch) and Clonezilla...

Glad I'm not the only one seeing this issue. I'm actually working on my own utility Linux distro based on Arch Linux. I'm seeing the same error. However if I run Clonezilla with "-d0", I actually get to the "Mount Clonezilla Image directory" before it bails with: Clonezilla mode is device-image mktemp: failed to create file via template ‘/home/partimag/rw_test.XXXXXX’: No such file or directory mountpoint: /home/partimag: No such file or directory /usr/bin/prep-ocsroot: line 1097: 841 Aborted (core...

Apologies for the late response... I cloned the latest from github and went through the build process. AVX is no longer detected on the N3160! Thanks Davis.

It continues to compile. But running it, results in a core dump. I'm sure the dump is a result of AVX as I had this issue before in an earlier build. Once I disabled AVX, it was fine. I've since gotten an i3 as my testbed, but wanted you to know of the potential issue with AVX auto detection. Of course, I'm happy to test any solution you may have in auto detecting.

Hi, There appears to be a bug with 19.13 AVX detection when using python setup. Attempting to compile on a Celeron N3160 show that AVX is supported by the CPU. However, the N3160 does not support AVX. Thanks in advance, cesman
