    I am so sorry: it seems this behavior was brought by the -snl option I also had specified, not -snh. I failed to test for it because I couldn't believe that junction would be recognized as type symlink. But this part of the issue still stands - junctions are not symlinks and symlinks are not junctions. Both are type of a reparse point but very different, like stated earlier some softwares will resolve the endpoint of a symlink, but like hard links also junctions are fully transparent.     Would be nice if it'd take a multiple argument list so that many io priorities could be set once, just as-is or comma separated, iopriority name/pid #, name/pid #, ... Even better if one could set the process priority too, so that one not need to use wmic/other tools for that. It'd be compatible with existing scripts with syntax like iopriority name/pid iopriority processpriority , [multi] Extra bonus if you'd incorporate services prioritization too, currently i have to parse the output of tasklist...

    I've isolated that the bug is somewhere between first 1-2 MB on the partition, with 1.NTFS cut to first 1 MB the strange message "There are some data after the end of the payload data" won't trigger, but with 2 MB it does. Unfortunately all this area contains private file data so I'm rather unable to send you a 2 MB cutoff. Even smaller pieces (down to 8kb) trigger the "Can not open the file as [NTFS] archive" message but I wouldn't know if this is because of some error there, or because it's truncated....

    7zip v1900 and also v1805 on Windows 10 Pro (latest updated), I have some full disk image backups (hdd.img, MBR partitioning)) done with either SelfImage or dd for windows and of the 4 partitions (all type primary) on the disk, 0, 2 and 3 can be extracted without any problems, but partition 1 gives error: 1 Z:\tmp\1.ntfs Warnings: There are some data after the end of the payload data Warning Can not open the file as [NTFS] archive The file is open as [gzip] archive 2 Data error: 1 But Imdisk mounts...
