An update. The wifi issue I worked around by assigning unique SSIDs to the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands on my router but this suggests problems with the underlying network element of KDE so if anyone knows how to contact the developers to report the bug to them it would definitely be worth doing so or failing that switching out KDE for something else.

Titles gives the premise, in short what little I could use of this distro seems promising, but sadly across several builds, at least 6 of them, I have persistent wireless connectivity issues. It will only connect when set to "Infrastructure" and worse still it only connects on the 2.4GHz band not the 5GHz band. The adapter I have is an Intel AC3165 with bluetooth. The new desktop is also rather glitchy, when you click to connect to wifi the top bar bugs out rendering incorrectly behind the wifi window...
