Thank you once again. I ran R-Studio on the drive and I can see the files but they are numbered, like File0001 and File 02000 - is there anything that can be done? Perhaps somehow restore the GPT structure? I also need to say, before decrypting,I tried restoring the boot loader for VeraCrypt and it worked, just for the incorrect drive (the same drive I am referring to), after that, I decrypted the same incorrect drive. Thank you very much for your reply. I figured that and I tried it but nothing happened as well, I ended up putting the rescue disc and it had a "Enter Password" option, I entered it and it worked. The problem is, I thought I decrypted the drive (it took 3 days) but what I did is decrypted another drive (disc0) which was never encrypted (regular 4TB drive with 1 GPT partition). The files on it are no longer visible - do you have an idea on how to restore them? Mike. On Mon, Oct 21, 2019 at 7:03 PM...
Hi, I installed Veracrypt and encrypted my system drive, restarted, entered the password and it worked fine. I then used the custom message during boot so I only see a custom text. After entering the password and pressing Enter, nothing happens. I decrypted the entire drive with the rescue disc, it took 3 days and finished successfully. When I try to boot from the drive, it is still showing the custom message with no ability to do anything. Entering the password does not work, pressing ESC does not...
