Hi Andy - I have read the documentation, and I haven't seen anything about the missing grub-pc error. If I missed it, I apologize for the confusion. I've seen the instructions about the user name not working, and will follow that process to get it fixed. I tried doing a manual install of grub, but me being a Linix n00b, I wasn't having much success with that. I had a copy of Ubuntu server 20, so I loaded that on the laptop first, then loaded the KB1OIQ build. That seems to have gotten around the problem, although now I have Ubuntu server 20 on the laptop too. :-) Need to review the instructions on getting my user name to work, too. 73, K0MSM
