How to loop through a list of strings strs and Find all in current document for each string and show the results in the result panel via python?
I just found out two weeks after replacing first 8 bytes in hex from good.7z archive, the good.7z became bad again, this time all files come with Data Error message. I've already extracted the non-corrupted files from last time, just wonder why it happens out of curiosity.
That's ok, I can remake those files. Which extension and parameters and encryption method would you recommend that are less likely to be corrupted?
When extracting, it says 'Warnings: Headers Error ' And 115 Data error 'Data Error: Wrong password? : path/to/file ' These 115 data error files should be those zeros in the beginning of the file, I guess I'll have to recover those 115 files manually. But I can extract it. This looks about right?
OMG, it works!!! Thank you so much!!!!
Hi @ipavlov. How do you know if the start/end of archive is correct or not and which to fix? If my corrupted archive 1). Size 297652565399. ~30k files, LZMA2, encrypted with AES-256. 2). Has all zeros from 0000000000 to 0000000FF0, does it mean start is incorrect? 3). End of the archive looks like : https://imgur.com/a/EPVYX0d Does it mean the end header is corrupt as well? You mentioned it's very very difficult to recover encrypted 7z archive, if there's no end header. It means my archive is unrecoverable...
