I am experimenting with running multiple concurrent instances of butt (0.1.15) on a Mac (OS X 10.10.5). Each instance uses its own config file. I launch them in the Terminal like so: open -n -a butt --args -c /path/to/config/file1 open -n -a butt --args -c /path/to/config/file2 ... Each instance starts up just fine and runs for awhile. After awhile (a couple of hours? I'm not exactly sure) one of them stops streaming and its level meters go dark. After another while, another instance also stops streaming....
@matt king: Did you ever get this problem resolved? I'm new to butt (v0.1.15, Mac OSX 10.10.5), and am having a similar problem. Butt starts up fine and runs for a while, then the level meters go dark and it stops streaming. If I toggle a setting in the Audio tab (e.g., change Channel to Mono or Channel to Stereo), it starts right up again. Very weird...
