Latest version worked for the simple test case and a bunch of other more realistic figures on my machine. An example is attached, all tic labels are tex generated eps files. The previous version just produced the plot but no labels. Thank you!
Hello Thomas, thanks for the reply, I think I can clarify that a bit. First, the problem was encountered in xfig/fig2dev that comes with Ubuntu 21. For a quick check and because I had only access to a Ubuntu 20 machine I installed it from source but got the same issue. The xfig that is in the repos for U20 (v3.2.7) works without issues. I checked already that xfig reads the fig file, finds the eps and correctly displays is. First running fig2dev to generate a eps file has the same result: an empty...
