I think I got it....I went back and made sure nothing was selected in the upper drive box and then selected the partition, it seems to be decrypting. Fingers crossed...thanks!

Thanks for replying. I did use VeraCrypt to to encrypt my drive and it worked.
I just read further instructions on VeraCrypt's Documentation/Help webpage about "If the Volume is Device Hosted" (which I assume mine is) and I don't see the 'New Partition’ or ‘New Simple Volume’ when I right-click the area representing the storage space of the encrypted device as per the instructions.
I encrypted my SSD (E) drive to an M drive so I could send my laptop in for repair. I got my laptop back and want to decrypt all the files (now on M Drive) back to the original E Drive location. When I highlight all the files in the encrypted M drive and try to move them to E, I get a pop-up error message that says: " Location is not available, E/: is not accessible, Parameter is incorrect." HELP! Windows 10, Veracrypt 1.24-update 7 (64-bit)
