But if u have an functional PGP Environment PEP can be a mess the better Option will be, that enigmail searches at the first startup for existing key's and ask then if u want to disable PEP on default. IMHO this will be the best option best regards

u could also set an asterisk (*) instead of the Browser Name so u have a match on any browser regardless which one u using best regards

@paul: Do i have to mount the storage as an Drive in OS (in my case windows) first ? or is it possible without doing this i'm not really getting that part best regards

@Paul: I want to test this with my email provider which support DAV but he has only an instruction to mount an Networkdrive on Windows. Is it quite similar, or is it completely different if i want to do this in keepas with an absloute url. sorry im not so familar with webdav best regards

what about webdav ? does anyone know an example how i have to insert it in keepass ? @paul: thats not really comfortable to hold each other up to date so, thats not an option Update: atm. i have keeanywhere and one drive as the cloud storage it's not the best bet but for the first approach it's ok. best regards

okay so i need an third party component but well. .. i have to decide between an plugin with has only integration for not so reliable providers or an other piece of software in beetween which offers more security from scratch. so now i know my options and i have to weighing up each other but it sounds really as an alternate option thnx steeleij for the guidance @glenn: thanks also for the hint but if i decide to use an plugin, i'll only use keepass2android for the mobile phone it's quite sufficient....

@steelej: Yes u right google does encryption but it's quite certain that they have the master keys. Teamdrive sounds a real good alternative How i have to share the kdbx file in the teamdrive space ? best regards

may .. try to install reinstall ur framework with these tipps: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/framework/install/troubleshoot-blocked-installations-and-uninstallations#:~:targetText=To%20uninstall%20.NET%20Framework%204.5,KB2828152)%20and%20then%20choose%20Uninstall. furthermore: try to set windows on an earlier state before some updates takes place ( may some updates crashes with the framework. best regards

look for the option secure desktop and deactivate it when its activated: https://keepass.info/help/kb/sec_desk.html try to deactivate every tool which is runnig in the background espacially tools which are enhancing ur security like antivirus etc. next ,switch the browser or use an other program on ur pc to run an autotype passw. best regards

@steelej: thanks also the hint with the read/write is useful so..locally with triggers it works really well but i think for cloud services i need either an third party software like google sync on my desktop (or the MS counterpart) or an keepass plugin. i think the plugin is the the lesser of the two evils. any other recommendations which are not so complicated are appriciated best regards

but "commercial companies" were part of the "analysis". payed services like lastpass, they didn't fix those issues because they don't deem them as serious threats. never doubt on this, i just point out from point of view what i should expect if i pay annually for an product. just generally considered.not even on this topic no harm meant best regards

Not really.... SGX was already proven to be brittle to various attacks and is only available on new intel CPU's. ok thats new for me thanks for clarifying this. This is NOT an issue. KeePass was able to protect most of the data even when is locked. KeePass allows to option to terminate instead of locking. I've never said that. Just talked about commercial companies and what u can already expect if u pay for it. best regards

The researcher from the white paper insisted that if u going to build some kind of security software u have to figure out an solution to prevent things like that. Among other options, they pointed out the possibility to use the intel SGX technology to protect the memory over the hardware layer. btw: Dominik how difficulit would be that for keepass to implement this ? But i hink u have to look different over this topic cause some tools are open source and some are commercial. So Keepass is maintaned...

If i do this then the Auto Type Entry Selection Appears with 2 Choices. @horst: i dont want to make an login with an second step which i have to do on my own. ps: if its not possible to concantenate sequence 1 and 2 i think i could live with the delay option. best regards

Hello wimpunk Thanks for the hints Before, i had the distri version from ddclient. Then i replaced the new Version and when i start ddclient i have to add some missing perl modules, But now ddclient runs smoothly so far. So how i can figure out that everything is in place ? Or is it the case when the script is able for execution. regards jorensen
