A .VOB file is an integrated part of a DVD structure and they are tied together with the informations in .IFO files. You're trying to use each of your source .VOBs as individual titles which makes no sense and thats why the Presentation Time Stamp (pts) cannot be inferred. If your original DVD contain a single title you could use DVD -> Add -> Titles from DVD in DVDStyler. Or you could start by remuxing your DVD with MakeMKV. It also remove copy protection so no Decryption is needed. Or you could...

Now I understand the question - I think. in order disable titles You use the word "Title" as meaning "Subtitle". In DVD context the word "Title" means "Video". You can use a General Register, eg. g5, to keep track off whether to display the subtiles or not. Use "DVD -> Options -> First play command" to initialize g5 to 64 (See p 14 HERE). How (which software) do you download? Which version of DVDStyler are you using. Previously (I think it's recified now) there has been problems with the size calculation for MP4 files if they besides the video track had an additional MJPEG track. Something went wrong so I try again. As you figured out now the reason you couldn't use the video as menu background is there are two audio tracks. You can only have one - it's not as in a Title that you can select the audio track to use. The MediaInfo for the Vegas.mkv file is attached. The first audio track has almost similar length as the video track so I suppose that the one to use. • JMJ JMJ posted a comment on discussion Help

The reason is that your background video has 2 audio track. You could use MKVToolnix to get rid off one of them and make the video "useable". However, your video has a resolution of 640x640 which would make it streched as in the attached screenshot. To make it natural you you need to add black pillars on the side of it (or otherwise else make it in the aspect ratio you use for menu 16:9 or 4:3. You could do that in DVDStyler which is what I have done in the attached VTS_01_1.VOB. In the next post...

For Windows I made this demo project https://sourceforge.net/p/dvdstyler/discussion/318795/thread/e4ab351e/ but of course any software capable of converting .srt to vobsub/idx can be used. Chers
