As an aside note about SQLite compile time options, since latest release 3.35 (2021-03-12) the SQlite library got a new set of very usefull math functions provided the compile time option " -DSQLITE_ENABLE_MATH_FUNCTIONS" is used. I don't know howerver if special action is necessary to bring these functions in the library. Thank you Mr Nadkarni for your reply We have found a workaroud about this SQLite' JSON extension, so no hurry is necessary on our side. However it seems that a 8.7a5 release candidate is in preparation from the tcl core team. Compile SQLite tcl interface with its JSON extension

If usefull, I can provide 2 Tcl/Tk scripts exercising TkTreeCtrl under simulated heavy load with a SQlite db and showing differences between 2.4.1 / 2.4.2 versions.
