While I love NAPS2, it would be even better with Auto-Crop. But as I suspect this is a rather complicated feature to program, there are a couple of simpler improvements that would help in the meantime: -set the crop window to open in full screen. As it is, every time I open the crop window I have to drag the corner to enlarge it to make it easier to see the crop margins. -change from 4 independent sliders to a box which would allow the user to grab a corner to adjust two sides at once.
