Thanks for the clarification, Igor. Updated: Oddly, we have one Server 2016 box that has long paths with / and the long paths work. But we can't reproduce this behavior on any other boxes, so there's something in Windows that addresses this behavior. We just can't find it.
Thanks for the clarification, Igor.
Thanks for the info. In this case, we're seeing the issue with the same version of 7-Zip (v19.00), which is 64-bit. In addition, the path in our case lacks the leading \\.\, so the path looks something like E:\Foo/Bar/Baz. There appears to be something special about one Server 2016 box where the forward slash paths actually work, but it doesn't work anywhere else on either Server 2016 or Server 2019, and we don't know why. Igor, thanks for the really quick response. We did some further testing and realized that the extract target path was using '/' instead of '\'. We did some further testing and found that the extract consistently succeeds on long paths on both Server 2016 and Server 2019 if we replace '/' with '\'. We assume that the Windows path normalization process somehow changes the underlying filesystem API to something that doesn't handle long paths. We have referred the issue back to the customer to only use...
I have an issue extracting tar files with 7-Zip 19.00 CLI on Windows Server 2019 where, because the extract target path is long enough, some files exceed the 260 character path length limit. I also can reproduce the issue with a ZIP file from the CLI. However, Windows Server 2016 doesn't exhibit this behavior with the same tar or ZIP files and same extract target path. In both cases, the long path policy is enabled, the LongPathsEnabled registry value is set to 1, the servers have been rebooted after...
I've been using Sleepyhead (v1.0.0-beta-2) for about 2 weeks now, and I love it. The one tab I haven't used much is the Overview tab, although I have looked a few times. Today, however, I looked and noticed that the Pressure graph is blank for all days that I've uploaded data except today. When I hover over today's bar, I see the popup with the summary data for the bar. When I hover over the "blank" days, however, I see the following data: 7/3/2018 APAP Min 12 Max 17 (cmH20) Pressure: -304282346638528859811704183484516925440.0...
