Is it currently possible to link the expiry date of one entry to expiry of another? Is so, how? If not, could this be added? I use the password field reference frequently and it would make sense for the parent (referenced) password entry to also link to the expiation date of the child entry. Thank you.

Frans, Thank you so much for the explanation. I have recalculated the MTF from the same single edge images using lp/mm for the specific pixel pitch of each sensor (X-H2=3.04, X-H2S=3.76). Now I see an expected result with the higher resolution 40mp sensor showing consistently greater resolving power in terms of actual line pairs.

The test images were taken at ~1m which is 4x the 0.28m minimum focus distance for the lens. I understand your point regarding stepper motors increments. I don't think that is the limiting factor here. Both cameras are physically identical and were mounted at a fixed location so the sensor planes should have been exactly the same distance from the subject. Focus confirmation and focus assist highlighting was confirmed on each test.

Test: backlit razor blade, single edge. Same lens used on two different cameras having the same mount and physical sensor size (APS-C). The only difference is a 26 versus 40 megapixel sensor. I am interested if there is a measurable difference in sharpness and resolving power with the higher resolution 40mp sensor. The results are puzzling. The MTF50 (c/p) values are marginally but consistently higher for the lower resolution 26mp sensor. I am not sure how to interpret this result. Does this mean...

Is there a way to increase the size of the mtfmapper application window and display fonts? I've tried increasing scaling on Windows 11 to 200% but that has not effect on the app. I'm having a difficult time reading the fonts especially in the preferences. Thank you.

I'm new to keepass and very interested in this feature. It would make the process of adding new entries more streamlined. Currently, you need to create a new entry, save it, then right-click add tags to see existing tags.

dcraw development seems to have stopped. There have been no updates in years. Is there any plan to migrate to another raw image developer? dcraw apparently does not support ORF images from the current Olympus (OM Systems) OM-1 camera.

Is it possible to include any EXIF data in the result graphics such as camera and lens model, focal length, aperture, etc?

Windows 11 x64 Pro MTF Mapper version 0.7.37 When I choose "save all results" or "save results subset" from the GUI and select a folder path which contains blank spaces in any folder name in the path, nothing is saved to the output folder. No errors or messages are shown. As long as the entire destination path contains no spaces, the output is saved as expected. "C:\lens\test goes\here" gets no output "C:\lens\test\goes\here" works fine

C:\Program Files\MTF Mapper\bin\gnuplot\demo_plugin.dll is being flagged as malware by webroot and removed. Is this component necessary and safe?

Imatest is now using a gray background on their test charts rather than pure white. Have you explored any advantages or disadvantages in using lower contrast targets? Thank you.

Providing more details regarding your printing method would help diagnosing your issues. What kind of printer (inkjet, laser?) What kind of paper exactly? (weight, finish, etc.) I do single edge images of razor blades all the time and it works well. You need to back light the object so the background surface is illuminated and the front of the blade (facing camera) is in nearly complete shadow. I use transluscent white plexiglass as background lit from behind. Razor blades are placed at least a few...

Frans, Your alternate file open option makes sense and would work equally well. Sorry for the delayed response, I thought I was subscribed to the thread but was not. Thanks, Jeff

mtfmapper is amazing! I'm experimenting with the "backlit razor blade" technique instead of using printed targets. My input images are all pre-cropped to the roi. I add "--single-roi" argument to the preferences dialogue each time the application runs. It would be great if that option could be "sticky" so it could be retained between uses. Please add GUI preferences checkbox for "--single-roi". Thank you.
