Then ngspice appears to be waiting for some actionable command. Yes. I did a few analysis... Some of them worked (like .op, and some .tran) but others refused. I first wanted to get the initial issues out of the way. The long line is apparently launched by gnetlist, as it appear first in the netlist file. ngspice reads that first line and echoes it, like you said. What I meant was, that of all the tutorials I checked, I never noticed such a long line... On calling ngspice with the netlist as argument,...

I'm trying to get simple things to work in gschem (gEDA - because I have loads of schematics in gschem), and ngspice. I get loads of strings things, which the examples don't show... For example I'll use a simple voltage divider (op_passive.sch). Hello Ryan! Thanks for the heads-up on the MacPort of LinSmith... To be honest, this was the first time I heard about the program being ported at all ;-) Kudos! Here are some comments: configure: WARNING: 'missing' script is too old or missing ... That error is new to me. I don't have the code here, but I seem to remember the 'missing' script was there. The 'implicit' declarations issues, I understand. I could solve them, but I haven't seen them here. Are you using gcc? Apart from that, I am a little...
