Hi Alex, I'm having the same problem. Been like this forever so took a few minutes to search the forum for clues. I'd like to rename some FIELDS I manually created in KPEnhancedEntryView and also Reorder the fields once created but I've never been able to. My only option is to delete the old named field and create a new one. Right-click the field only lets me change the field value not the field Name. Current Version: KeePass v 2.5 (64bit) KPEnhancedEntryView v2.4.1.0 Thanks so much for your work....

Where is 'auto width' in the menus. I seached through all of them but it aludes me.

Hi Alex, Thank you for all your work in keeping KPEnhancedEntryView alive. I just sent you another annual donation for your work. Is it possible to add an option to selectively Bold text in KBEnhancedEntryView note area? I often make notes starting with a Title. If I could bold text the title it would help separate the various note sections. The URL links are already highlighted so that's helpful too. Thanks, Mike

When I search for a record in KP v2.42 it comes back with more hits than is necessary which makes finding things more difficult. Example: If I type the following with or without quites, makes no difference "mewo" it will find words that contain "mewo" like Framwork. Example: I search for Amazon, it comes back with 22 records it thinks matches Amazon. I looked at all 22 records and only a few have Amazon. All the other records do not contain the word Amazon at all. I wish the key search words were...

Thanks Wellread1. I followed your steps. My 27MB database file size is largely due to attachments. I use KP Enhanced Entry View which allows attachments. This is useful to associate secure documents with particular accounts. I cleared some of them which brought it down to 22MB.

This Slow Startup thread goes back to 2012 and is blamed on Windows .NET and is still an issue in 2019. I've been a long time supporter of KeyPass, donated multiple times, but the slow initilization really should be adressed by now. The KP application opens quickly for me using v2.4.1 on Windows 10 however it is slow opening the database after I enter my login credentials. It can take nearly 30 seconds to materialize but once open, it's quick again. I forget which version it was when this started...

I open KP on my Samsung Galaxy S9, select Open Database. From the listed options I select Google Drive. The first thing it wants is access to my Contact, Yes or No. I select no but apparently only Yes will work. Why does using KP and Google Drive require access to all my Contacts?

This post is a few years old but I'm going to raise the topic again. I do use Groups but sometimes even when the results are few, say 4 records, in one of those records I do not see my search term at all. Have no idea why KP treated that record as a positive match for my search term. If KeePass highlighted results then maybe the answer would be obvious. Thanks, JC

Alex, just posted in forums that KPEEV stopped working after I upgraded KP v2.39. First thing I did was check KPEEV download for a new plugin version but it didn't see one. Then saw you posted it in the General Discussion forum so tried "KPEnhancedEntryView2.plgx" and it seems to work. Thank goodness, that was surprising but not in good way. LOL As always, thanks for the good work and update. Time to donate again! :)

Just saw this General Discussion and tried KPEnhancedEntryView2.plgx and it seems to work. Thank goodness, that was surprising and not in good way. LOL

Just installed KP v2.39 and it broke KPEnhancedEntryView.plgx. This is an essensial plugin in my book and I've already check the latest version of the plugin, doesn't work with KP 2.39. I'm uninstalling KP v2.39. Hope you can fix it soon. Attached error.

Selecting the entry(s) it found then manually scanning the contents, my search term is nowhere to be found. Copy/past content in Notepad then search from there, says zero found so it's not there but KP thinks it exists. This is why I asked for Search results be highlighted in the records.

I often use Search in KP to find stored information but sometimes the results don't apply. I looked at everything in the records it found but do not see my search term anywhere. Why did KP think this was a match? Example: Random search word: "Stone". It comes up with two records. I don't see the word "Stone" anywhere. Next, I copy/past the record contents into Notepad and search for "Stone". Zero results found. Maybe this is a bug. If not then highlighting the serarch results will be a huge help....

In KP EnhancedEntryView I added some info and meant to cut/past another section but instead deleted that section. There is no UNDO button. My option is to close the database w/o saving changes but doing so means I lose all the updates I already made. :( Would it be possible to add an UNDO button?
