Thankyou for the fast response. These modules remind me of similar project I've worked on with Christmas Lights. For Arduino's, the packet usually contains some sort of header then the colors in R G B order. To be honest, I'd be more likely to succeed in faking a protocol in the Arduino than writing a driver. jcasterline@live.com

How are these light controllers interfaced? What format is the data going out? I would like to make my own controller from an arduino NANO and some neopixels. Is generic serial output a possibility, or can I write a program to fake it?
