Here is a printscreen:
Hi all, I came accross a B40 without the S/5 license. I changed VSCapture to print the serial and did get something, but made no sense: 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...
Hi John, thanks! I think I made it work with the correct settings.
Hi John, I have an old GE B20 that has the Multi I/O female connector. I found the Multi I/O pinout in the B20/40 technical manual and made a custom Null Modem DB26 - DB9 cable, connecting TX-RX; RTS-CTS; GND-GND (and vice-versa). I then connected an RS232-USB cable to the DB9. For testing, I connected an oscilloscope (I have a background in Electrical Engineering) on the TX(PC) -> RX(monitor) and RX(PC) <- TX(monitor) connections. When I leave VS's default handshake (RTS only), I get nothing on...
I want to make a custom adapter to connect VSCapture to a GE B20. Does anyone have the schematics for the Multi I/O port? A cable costs up to a few hundred dollars when the parts cost only a few cents.
