Looks like they changed the site quite a bit recently. I will need to take a look. It has been a while since I did any updates on this, so will need to pull a lot of things together before I can take a look, so TBD on the timing. If I can find the right virtual machine that has the Adobe Flex stuff installed...etc.etc. Will let you know. Thanks for the report.
It does, but that isn't necessary. Appreciate the thought though!
Ok, so updated so that the new JSON Scraping uses the correct separators (the older regex still worked and worked properly with the separators). It may take a bit for the auto-update to get pushed out due to some cacheing on sourceforge, so if you get impatient, go ahead and manually download and install. Let me know if you find any other issues! Thanks
v3.10.2
I'll take a look at the separator issue this weekend hopefully.
Nevermind, looks like I fixed it by not using the Sourceforge download redirector. Sucks because it won't show the download counts, but oh well.
I've uploaded a fixed version, but having some issues with the auto-updater....sigh. Feel free to install it manually if necessary until I figure out the problem.
v3.10.1
Sorry, got distracted, still working on it.
So it is basicallly that, they redid the webpage, so I am finishing up fixing the regular expressions used to scrape the IMDB pages. That said, I did discover as part of this that they are now including a json version of a lot of the data we need, so I am adding that as an optional, 'less likely to break if it is there at all' source of the data. Finishing up tomorrow hopefully, the JSON stuff is ready, just need to fix a few more of the regular expressions. Thanks for reporting the issue, since...
I will take a look this weekend. Could just be some site scraping changes that need new Regular Expressions to search with, hopefully, and not somethinng like 'oh you need to click thru to some other page now'.
v3.9.10 updates
Also, note that that the installer now says UNKNOWN publisher instead of my name, because of the same certificate expiration issues. Not in the mood to pay money for another cert or jump through the hoops for a free one, if those can still be found.
I have released an updated version, that addresses this issue, as well as a few others. Auto-update will work with this version going forward, but not with any version before 3.10.0 because of certificate expiration issues. Also note, that installing from a network share/drive doesn't seem to work (same damaged installer message), so always try to install from a local disk instead (or use the workaround above).
So seems like there is a recent problem with installation that can be worked around. The workaround is taken from: http://blogs.adobe.com/flashplayer/2017/11/adobe-air-applications-installation-issue.html Windows: 1. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe AIR\Versions\1.0 While holding the “Ctrl” key, select the Adobe AIR Application Installer.exe -> Right click on it -> Run as Administrator. Do not take your finger off the “ctrl” key until you see the window open up. Select and open the...
