Where is the SILK codec enabled in FreePBX? raspberry asterisk faq suggests.. in FreePBX open Settings – Asterisk SIP Settings, scroll down to Other SIP Settings, and enter allow = silk8 ive done this - and it does not work. ive checked in modules ... /usr/lib/asterisk/modules/ all the usual codec.so are there listed - but no codec_silk.so i suspect the http://www.raspberry-asterisk.org/faq/#silk is outdated . ) ive tried this..
