Thanks for explaining.
Hi, In an other thread I read that the file KeePass.XmlSerializers.dll should be present in the Keepass directory. I'm using Keepass portable (latest) for some years now without any problems. I can't remember ever having this file/dll be present in the Keepass directory. What's the purpose/benefit of this file? Is it always needed? TIA, Jack
@Paul, @wellread1, As I see it there are two issues at hand. First the disappearance of "duplicate entry" from the context menu and second, to "correct" this a plugin is needed. Regarding the first, Dominik had its reasons. OK. My question was regarding the second. To bring the option back in the context menu a plugin is needed. In my perspective a plugin is used to add some extra functionality to an application, not to switch on/off existing one. Hence my remark that it would be more logical to...
...is there a reason why these options are not part of the Tools-Options? Seems to make more sense there than via a plugin.
Thanks for the suggestions. Hereditas seems interesting. Has anybody experience with this?
As the topic suggest..... We all get older and at some point in time we leave the here and now for the eternal. In this case I would like to open up all Keepass databases so that my wife/children/grand children can access all important data. Is there a way, like some inverse expiration date, to accomplish that? Some suggestions are welcome on this topic. It doesn't have to be a Keepass solution perse.
Forget it. Issue is resolved.
HI, Just updated to 2.55 (portable). Now at every start of KP this warning is displayed. Should i simply delete keepass.exe.config ?
