Hi, I am wondering if there is any python code/function availble to parse out glm file and find out all down stream and upstream sections in a glm file? My thought: convert glm to feeder tree Convert feeder tree to networkx graph and then work on networkx graph?? any better idea or any already written piece of code. Thanks, Pedram

Hi: Is tehre anyway to replace one year (tmyfile) with multi year actual wethaer for multi year simulation in climate object? I mean if my wether file have the complete timestamp (including year) like below Buffalo ,NY weather file ,,,,,, $state_name=NewYork,,,,,, $city_name=Buffalo,,,,,, $lat_deg=42,,,,,, $lat_min=13,,,,,, $long_deg=-71,,,,,, $long_min=56,,,,,, temperature,wind_speed,humidity,solar_dir,solar_diff,solar_global, year:month:day:hour:minute:second,,,,,, 2016:01:01 00:00:00,30.92,12.74,75,0.00,0.00,0.00...

Frank: Thanks for the KLU suggestion, it made the simulations much faster. Pedram

I am trying KLU solver as Frank recomended, and it showes much faster speed that superLU, I will post the results later here. Thanks, Pedram

Yes, one of them is swing bus.

I have a ctually another feeder simulation using method 2 (explained above) that took almost 3 days, if you look at results 96% of the time is for the meter object, I have 541 meters in this glm. Core profiler results Total objects 4807 objects Parallelism 1 thread Total time 261387.0 seconds Core time 1912.2 seconds (0.7%) Compiler 6.6 seconds (0.0%) Instances 0.0 seconds (0.0%) Random variables 0.0 seconds (0.0%) Schedules 0.0 seconds (0.0%) Loadshapes 0.0 seconds (0.0%) Enduses 0.0 seconds (0.0%)...

Hi: I'd like to get your idea on how to increase simulation speed on my simulations and I want to share two glm runs for same feeder (differnt modelling on loads) model 1) Loads are modeled as same feeder shape file (coming as one hourly player in a glm file) multiplied by a mulutiplier. model 2) every single load is modeled as a table in mysql and reads from there Runs are for 2189 days and minumum time step is 1 hour. All recorders, collectors, players, weather data and loads have 1 hour interval....
