By the way, thanks for all you do with Meteorologist Classic. I've used it for a long time and it's great.
Hi Jerry, I'm using OSX Version 10.11.6. I was reading the "other" Meteorologist forum too, and there were some suggestions to use NOAA as a source? I don't know if that would work for Meteorologist Classic, too.
Just downloaded Version 1.7.15, trashed my old preferences and set up the new locations. It seems to be working fine again. Thank you so much for keeping this gem of a program working! Quick question...is there a limit on how many locations one can track in Yahoo Weather? I have 10 locations: places I've visited or where friends now live. Is that too many locations? Cathy
Weather services not working?
Thanks for your advice! I'll try adjusting my locations to a different service.
The one location for which I use Yahoo Weather is Cape Town, South Africa. If there's a better service for that, I'll change. Would you recommend changing my Apixu locations (all in the U.S.) to Yahoo or another service?
For the past couple weeks or so, Meteorologist Classic hasn't been working. It was fine up to that point. I have a 2015 5K iMac running MacOS 10.11.6 (El Capitan). Most of my locations are using the Apixu weather source. All just show a "?" in place of the current temperature. The one location with Yahoo weather shows the current temperature, but the extended forcast for that shows no temperatures, which has been a recurring problem. Is the Apixu weather source no longer usable?
Hi, thanks for the info. I actually went in and changed each location to use the APIXU weather source. And when I open the preference pane to show the locations it properly shows APIXU as the new source. However, if I click on "edit" for each location, it is showing OpenWeatherMap as the source. Do you know why?
