Marc, the table structure seems to differ from the original. You should check if the scripts and database tables are changed in some way. Your error message: table bibliocopy key mbrindex Original table structure table biblio_copy key mbr_index

This was not on my list, thanks for the reminder. Now I'm afraid there are existing databases (charset latin1 and perhaps others) that will have to be converted. Also the encoding could have become a mess, even if the database is utf8 already. There is no fix prepared (for the OpenBiblio database upgrade process) that can handle this issues.
One of my comments on "Setup up Search like UHRC Library" says: This is not exactly like the older version of the advanced search patch UHRC is using. Untested suggestion: upgrade to our latest release, currently 0.7.x When your run keyword search in 0.7.1 and higher, you will get results from the field(s) for publisher. There is also an option for call number search.

Peter's patch is accepted and more fixes have been added. The result is available for testing, from my personal repository: https://bitbucket.org/jgvdweij/obiblio/
Almost finished, but different from the pull request linked in my previous post. It is available for testing, from my personal repository: https://bitbucket.org/jgvdweij/obiblio/
Thanks again Peter. Decided to rename the OpenBiblio error class and added some more fixes. It is now made available for testing: https://bitbucket.org/jgvdweij/obiblio/ (my personal repository)
Everything works, except OpenBiblio error messages In Circulation and Reports. These result in a fatal error, for example: Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined method Error::toStr() in /opt/lampp/htdocs/openbiblio/circ/checkout.php:39 Stack trace: #0 /opt/lampp/htdocs/openbiblio/circ/checkout.php(49): checkerror('dueDate', Object(Error)) #1 {main} thrown in /opt/lampp/htdocs/openbiblio/circ/checkout.php on line 39
The notices that mess up report PDF layouts are suppressed with error_reporting(E_ALL & ~E_NOTICE & ~E_STRICT & ~E_DEPRECATED);
Wow Peter, thanks a lot. I have only tested the patch briefly, but I'm already convinced that this is extremely helpful. Looks like you have fixed most of what was still missing in the pull request of binfalse https://bitbucket.org/mstetson/obiblio/pull-requests/10/ After patching 0.7.2 with your patch and copying the test helper scripts from binfalse, I was able to run the test suite (BTW: test suite is not available in the release files, only in the repository). Still to fix are the errors for...

Expect the next release (something like 0.7.3) before summer. I also expect to publish information about ways how people can help us making progress. We can't make promises about what will happen next and when, sorry.
Yes, but at this time not finished https://bitbucket.org/mstetson/obiblio/pull-requests/10
Try setting the following in PHP.INI display_errors = Off That should work for PHP 5. The scripts that run reports in version 0.7.2 are not updated for PHP 7.
line 101 is echo TableFuncs::$col['func']($col, $row, $this->_params); line 151 is return TableFuncs::_link_common($col, $row, $params, $url, 'bibid');
Help is welcome. Jump in here: https://bitbucket.org/mstetson/obiblio/pull-requests/10/php7-compliance/activity#
I have used MarcEdit with other hosts but I don't remember using it with COPAC. But there seems to be a match: records offered by COPAC conform to the MODS Schema and MarcEdit is able to handle MODS. http://marcedit.reeset.net/features The best way to check if the match is close enough is giving it a try. For uploading to OpenBiblio take a look at http://obiblio.sourceforge.net/index.php/Main/MARCUpload
Sandy, perhaps you can give MarcEdit a try with the COPAC host. Then export to MRC. Import using 'Upload Marc Data' in OpenBiblio Cataloging.
