Windows 6.03: unclear logic of gaps in the plot

Ah, I see that I just forgot how do I typically use keyentry — of course with title. But my intent would be naturally much better served with the right modifier (one which you did not show at all, for some reason — but it may be deduced¹⁾ from the docs) — instead of using title! It was not prominent enough in the docs for me to notice… ¹⁾ Well, it took a lot of deliberations! I think it makes sense to add a sentence that with “the key on the right”, one should use right alignment of the keyentry...

My personal preference is for rounded line caps; you can change that in the toolbar widget at the top of the plot window. (Me too. But) I cannot see such an option. Only for “line ends”, not for the dashes. Anyway, switching away “rounded ends” makes (1,1) very similar to ”what is expected from a densely dotted line”, for the cases of line widths 1, 1.8 and 2.5 I checked. I think this is a good starting point — and IMO one should try to make the case when “rounded ends” are enabled to have the look/density...

Sorry, my fault. I should have bracketed my remarks about “all libraries” by <pendantic>/</pendantic>! As a developer of graphic interfaces to math facilities, I’m well aware of the inexorable constraints the maintainer is confined to. Obviously, I did not talk about libraries “easy to be used from gnuplot”. Still, I must have stated this explicitly! Thanks for the fixes! P.S. PARI is the C library — and an interpreted language, while gp is the CLI/graphing calculator with bridges to (95% of) capabilities...
