  Thank you The "Force settings gamma ramp" option works, the second seems to do nothing. It's strange since the difference doesn't show in screenshots, which makes it seem like a monito thing, but when you see it, it's completely different to just increasing monitor brightness. It's much better now at dark parts. Thanks again.

  I think I've heard this is a limitation of DirectX or something, but just wanted to see if there was a workaround. When playing Grand Theft Auto games (III, VC, SA) in DxWnd, the in-game brightness doesn't affect the game at all. When playing in full screen without DxWnd, the brightness changes as expected. Is there a workaround for this? Thanks
