Dan, since my last post (12-days ago), unless an updated version of Mp4Tools has been released, the package is broken (64-bit) windows. It also appears this project may be temporarily abandoned due to a lack of response from any recognized project personnel; to this thread.

Jeff, Mp4Tools is currently (obviously) broken. When I have a chance --I'll attempt to remove any entries associated with this failed pkg from the OS \ Registry. I'll not give Mp4Tools pkg another install on a production machine. Regards.

Jeff, I do not believe for a second that your mach is a contributing factor. The specs I posted are not premium --but they are good enough to run the Video Sequence Editor (VSE) within Blender 2.90. If this mach has enough 'juice' to run Blender 2.90 without any crashing, so should Mp4Tools; without crashing/vanishing. I'm waiting for both --other users to share similar experiences, as well as the developers acknowledging (reading) this thread. It appears/seems to be an issue with 64\bit version...
