Hello When tracking POWERLINK in different work environments, I can see that each type of frame (SoC, PReq, PRes, SoA) has a particular MAC address, which is always specified on the "Destination" field of the Ethernet frame where PWLK is embedded. This MAC address is always the same, even when I set PWLK in different work environtments. For example, for a SoC frame: 01:11:1e:00:00:01 Which is the reason of this asignation? What are this MAC addresses used for? Kind regards, Juan Ignacio

Hello, I am writing with reference to the post done on the 12.12.2016. In order to being able to implement our own safety protocol (i.e, adding CRC redundancies at the end of the payload of POWERLINK) with a view to improve the detection capabilities of our network and being able to ask for a retransmition of the erroneous packet, it is neccessary to avoid Ethernet from discarding the frames that contain errors. In this context, is it possible to configure Ethernet so that the frames that contain...

Hello I have managed to implement the openPOWERLINK and I have also been able to implement cross traffic correctly, being able to make the correct link with the application and verifying it on Wireshark (one MN and two CNs). The used platform has been Raspberry Pi 3. The used Ethernet device has been a switch. However, according to what I have understood from the section "How does POWERLINK work" from you website (http://www.ethernet-powerlink.org/en/powerlink/technology/how-powerlink-works/), the...

Hello. As I have read, POWERLINK is based on the Fast Ethernet standard. I wonder if you could tell who makes the selection of this standard before running a POWERLINK application. Is the stack by default in change of making this selection of standard? Kind regards, Juan Ignacio Troisi
